The emulsion explosive processing unit equipment mainly produces 1000 tons/year of finished packaged sensitive explosives at the back end of the emulsifier, and 10000 tons/year of latex matrix at the front end of the emulsifier. The latex matrix of the produced finished explosives mainly serves engineering blasting in water conservancy, power, transportation, small-scale mining, etc. It is now widely used in engineering projects in Hubei, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Guangxi, Hebei, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hainan, and other regions. This equipment achieved great military achievements in the blasting and demolition of the Three Gorges Dam. The main equipment of the emulsion explosive processing unit consists of a power vehicle module, a raw material (emulsion) preparation vehicle module, a cooling (sensitization) preparation vehicle module, a charge preparation vehicle module, and a packaging work platform module. It is to assemble the equipment on four semi trailers without fixed buildings, with one investment, multiple uses, and nationwide roaming.

The emulsion explosive processing unit in this design adopts a modular and movable production line to provide supporting services for on-site mixed emulsion explosive trucks and to produce finished explosives, serving mines and other blasting services. According to the process requirements, the speed requirements of the frequency converter emulsifier are adjusted, and the hourly production capacity of bulk emulsion explosives is 12-18t/h, and the hourly production capacity of finished emulsion explosives is 1-5t/h. The corresponding 15T emulsion explosive loading vehicle and 20m³ transport vehicle are respectively loaded with latex matrix, sensitizer, and other auxiliary materials to complete the mixing, loading, and distribution of explosives at the blasting site. Real time sensitization technology is used to finally form explosives in the blast hole. When producing finished explosives, processes such as cooling, sensitization, loading, and packaging are carried out on the finished explosives.

Process

It is divided into two steps. First, a safe "paste like semi-finished product" is made in the mobile station. Then, it is pulled to the blasting point and the last thing is added to turn it into an explosive.

Packaging

Mainly not packaged, semi-finished products are directly shot into the blasting hole with pipes. When needed, it can also be made into small rolls.
